Question of the Week

“Most of the questions you are asked at school have right and wrong answers: Who invented the steam engine? What is the capital of Italy? How is blue cheese made? Such questions have answers you can always find in books or on the internet, so it doesn’t really matter if you sometimes don’t know the answers.”

“The questions here do not have answers you can find in such places because they are about you. Knowing what you believe in and who you are is very important, so look into yourself to find answers to these questions. This is not a test, though; no one answer is right for everyone. Here there are no correct answers – only honest ones -and you are the only one who really knows how honest you are being. Don’t say what you think others want you to; respond the way you actually feel.”

Question of the week for Monday, November 16, 2009:

“If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven’t you told them yet?”
