- Nouveau Vocabulaire pour Cendrillon, Partie 1
- Conte: Cendrillon, Partie 1
- Discussion du passé composé et l’accord (agreement when the subject is before the verb).
- Devoirs: Write a poem in the style of “Le Message” that is 12 lines long and follows the same type of pattern and tells an original or a well-known story. (Due Friday or Monday)

- We practiced the following vocabulary words: prend (takes), a (has), met (puts), veut (wants), mange (eats), veut manger (wants to eat)
- Mini-Story: Une fille a une pizza. Un garçon a Poulet Frit de Kentucky. (KFC) Le garçon ne veut pas de poulet. Le garçon veut manger la pizza. Il regarde la pizza de la fille. Il prend la pizza de la fille. Il mange la pizza. La fille frappe le garçon.
- On whiteboards, we wrote out sentences from the story.
- With time left, we played hangman with French letters on the whiteboards.

- We had a long hour due to the assembly.
- We voted for Homecoming.
- We practiced the following vocabulary words: saca (takes), tiene (has), pone (puts), quiere (wants), come (eats), quiere comer (wants to eat)
- Mini-Story: Una chica tiene pizza. Un chico tiene pollo de PFK. (KFC) El chico no quiere pollo. El chico quiere comer pizza. Mira la pizza de la chica. Saca la pizza de la chica. Come la pizza. La chica pega al chico.
- On whiteboards, we wrote out sentences from the story.
- With time left, we played hangman with Spanish letters on the whiteboards.

- HAND IN THE TYPE 3 ESSAY about the video from Friday. Please attach the prewriting sheet to it and put it in the basket.
- Video Bleu: Intro., la rentrée, Salut, ça va?
- 2 handouts: a formal and an informal conversation. We practiced these conversations with a partner.
- We translated the story, “La Bandit de Pizza”, and then listened to the story read slowly and then fast.
- Devoirs (HW): Choose one of the 2 conversations to teach to someone. Get the paper signed and be ready to show the paper on Tuesday.

- HAND IN the TYPE 3 ESSAY about the movie from Friday.
- 50+ word paragraph explaining the main idea of the poem, “Le Message” (in English).
- Discussion du poème.
- Devoirs: In French, write the actual letter that “someone” read in the poem, from the point of view of whomever you think wrote the letter. It should be 100 words or more, and should reveal your opinion about the person who wrote the letter, the person who read the letter and what the news was that caused the rest of the actions in the poem. Use your imagination.
- The rough draft is due tomorrow. The final draft will be due Friday or Monday.
