- Diario: How is French going for you so far? Too fast? Too slow? Just right?
- Mme. Burley talked about herself in French. Students wrote on scrap paper what they could figure out about what she was saying.
- Carte de Mme. Burley: Students read a French letter from Mme. Burley and tried to figure out what it is saying in English. Then compared to English version of the letter.
- Devoirs (HW): Write a letter to Mrs. Burley IN ENGLISH telling her about you and anything you think she should know about what is going on in your life.
- Mandala due next Monday (le 15 septembre)
- Letter to Mrs. B. IN ENGLISH due next Friday (le 19 septembre) or before.

- Devoirs: Finish as homework, at least the matching part…does not have to be colored for homework.

- Puis-je VOUS interviewer? On a continué les interviews avec VOUS.
- Nouveau Vocabulaire (and review): le berger (shepherd), le mouton (sheep), le loup (wolf), surveille (watches over), s’ennuie (gets bored), vient (comes), une blague (a joke), encore une fois (once again)
- On a raconté un conte (told as story): Le garçon qui a crié LOUP.
- Devoirs: Ecris le conte en français au présent. (Write the story in French for TOMORROW.) Dû demain.
