français 1: mardi, le 16 septembre

  • Mise en Train:  Color the picture by number.
  • Tennis Partners:  Had a conversation with “Tennis Partner” using Bonjour, Je m’appelle…, Comment t’appelles-tu? and Enchanté(e). 
  • Learned about and practiced “Comment allez-vous?” for polite conversation. 
  • Notes on Comment allez-vous?? and practice with Tennis partner.
  • New vocabulary list (for the first unit).  “Il y a” means “There is/there are”.
  • We talked about how many people there are in class, at tables, in groups.
  • Il y a combien de garçons dans ce groupe?  (Reviewed numbers.)
  • Practiced numbers with packet of numbers. 
  • No homework, except, DON’T FORGET to finish the MANDALA, LETTER to Mrs. Burley, and go to the blog, listen to the podcast and leave a comment.

  • Learned about and practiced “¿Cómo está Usted?” for polite conversation. 
  • Notes on ¿Cómo está Usted? and practice with Tennis partner.
  • New vocabulary list (for the first unit).  “Hay” means “There is/there are”.
  • We talked about how many people there are in class, at tables, in groups.
  • ¿Cuántos chicos hay en este grupo?  (Reviewed numbers.)
  • Practiced numbers with packet of numbers.

français 2: mardi, le 16 septembre

  • Mise en Train:  Dans les notes, conjuguez “oser” (to dare), “déranger” (to bother), et “voir” (to see). 
  • Discussion of the 2 (or 3) types of past tenses in English.  We focused on “was —-ing” and “—-ed”.  (Imperfect and preterit) 
  • Read the letter about the construction accident.  Box the imperfect (was —ing) and circle the preterit (—ed).
  • Devoirs:  Handout…Claire is telling about her day with her imaginary friend, using NOUS forms.  Change the original story to NOUS forms.  Hand in. 
  • Don’t forget to finish your MANDALA and hand it in ASAP, this week!

français 3 et 4: mardi, le 16 septembre

  • Mise en Train:  Définitions du Vocabulaire (en français):  un paquebot, une croisière, un gamin, le mal de mer, une récompense
  • Français 4:  Ecris un résumé (summary) bref des Ch. 1-5 du “Voyage Perdu” et continue à lire.
  • Français 3:  On a continué à lire le Ch. 1.  (Un chapitre long!)
  • Don’t forget to hand in your Mandala or Photo Album Page ASAP!  (This WEEK!)  Let me know if you have extenuating circumstances and need more time!
