- Mise en Train: in the Halloween story, we underlined plural verbs like “Ils regardent”.
- We discussed what these verbs mean and where the posters are that show them.
- We practiced the question song and groups came up with gestures to go with the song.
- We sang the song and all groups showed their gestures at the same time.
- We began filling out the notes for the family vocabulary and made a “rectangle” for the words for MY: mon, ma, mes.
- 1st hour began the story about Fifi (similar to a story on the test).

- Halloween Story: Choose from the following: draw the story in 6 scenes, summarize the story in English, translate the story aloud in English and underline all sentences that you are unsure of, write out the translation of the story in English.
- We had time to work on drawings and get help with sentences.
- Final draft of the coloring book is due any time between now and next week Wed., but if class time is given, it must be used, or the deadline will be moved up.

- Mise en Train: Pratiquer à répondre à la question: Quelle est la date de ton anniversaire?
- On a formé une ligne en ordre des anniversaires.
- Explication du “Livre de Colorier par les Numéros”.
- We had time to work on the project.
- Devoirs: Ecris 10 phrases pour le projet pour demain. (10 sentences for tomorrow.)
- Contrôle de Vocabulaire demain…tout le vocabulaire du chapitre (all of the vocabulary!).

- 1st hour finished the Common Assessment. 6th hour had to finish the story.
- Mise en Train: Translations
- Dictée with the story from yesterday (Le singe et la cacahuète)
- We read the story and translated it aloud.
- We played “la Guerre” to practice numbers.

- We finished the Common Assessment (but 1st hour still has a little bit to do because they asked more questions).
- We listened to Mini-Conte #4 (Le singe et la cacahuète) (Formerly MC #2)
- Students tallied the number of times that the phrases were used or they wrote the story in French or in English.
- Devoirs: Finish the Calendar and Numbers practice by Thurs. (Choose to do the odds, evens or all of them if you need more practice.)
