- Mise en Train: Review the new vocabulary, and discuss the most difficult words. How might someone keep the words vit, voit, va, vient and veut straight?!?
- Read “Le Petit Chaperon Rouge”, both versions. Summarize version #1 and hand it in.
- Handed back tests and went over them.

- We had a guest teacher due to Mme. Burley’s illness.
- Discovering French Blue textbooks: We took notes about telling time, pp. 26-28
- Completed and handed in p. 27, ex. 1, p. 29, ex. 3 and 4 (practicing time).
- Worked on family tree assignment. This is due tomorrow (as the guest teacher told you, since everyone had plenty of time to work on it).

- Compare and repair Famille Martin, Puzzle (and hand in).
- Gave the new vocabulary: vit (lives), la montagne (the mountain), s’ennuie (gets bored), raconte un conte (tells a story), raconte une blague (tells a joke), vient (comes), le lendemain (the next day).
- We began the family tree assignment (because I had no voice).
- 6th hour to Alice and Wonderland, 1st hour watched a little of Nemo.

- 6th hour is going to the play tomorrow, so they copied down the new vocabulary today.

- Brief introduction to telling time.
- 4 corners practice with seasons, months, birthdays and weather.
- Devoirs: Read Mini-Lecture 1A (and do the T/F).
- Puzzle, #20-100 due Wednesday. (We had time to work on this and began assessments for spelling names and colors.)

- Test TUESDAY.
- Free-reading. (6th hour did the activity with looking for masc./fem./singular and plural words in the book.)
- Numbers Grid for 6th hour. (Briefly began the story of “Le Petit Chaperon Rouge” in 1st hour.)
- La famille Martin…TPR: Touche les personnes dans la famille.
- Finir comme les devoirs.

- Nouveau Vocabulaire sur la liste: PQA…voit, pleure, le loup, mange (DP)
- We had a Class Conversation and practiced asking for help if we don’t understand. I purposely asked questions that the class didn’t understand, so they would say, “I don’t know”, “I don’t understand” or “What does that mean?”
- 1st hour did the 1st Numbers Grid. (Not enough time in 6th hour, because the conversation went longer.)
- Reading Comprehension Test moved to Tuesday because of the band kids gone.
