Detroit Free Press  – Bishop to Release Six Budget Bills  to Governor

GOP Majority leader Mike Bishop announced today that the Senate will release six budget bills to Governor Granholm next week.  The Governor will then act on each of these bills, either signing into law or vetoing each one separately.  Take a look at the last paragraph in the article – the GOP Senate has agreed to raise $100 million in revenue by “TAXING LOW INCOME FAMILIES.”

  1. This is beyond freaken crazy! Why would someone ever raise income tax on low income families? That is just insane what is wrong with people now days? Man that doesnt make sense to me! If they are already having trouble why would you try and make it worse? Stupid people!!!

  2. He must be out of his mind!!! If you raise income taxes on low income families it wont resolve anything. It would just make it harder and more stressful on a family that is in that particular situation.
