Directions for making your blog comment.
There is no blog comment during exam week.
This week we will make our blog comment on the “” page (pages are listed on the left hand side of the screen in the blue column). Be sure to answer all of the questions listed on the page.
This week you will be REQUIRED to make a THOUGHTFUL comment on another students blog comment. You can put this at the bottom of your blog comment. Please write the name of the person whose blog comment you are writing about.
Be sure to go to the correct page (you can see the link on the left hand side of the screen in the blue column) and make your comment there.
If you have more than 4 spelling, grammar, or other writing errors you will not receive a grade for the blog comment. 
Also, be sure to include only your first name and last initial as well as your hour. You must have an e-mail in the e-mail address. Use mine if you do no have one: jlohman@oakridgeschools.org
Complete all of the steps in the directions on the blog page.
Be sure to have good writing with proper spelling, grammar, punctuation and capitalization.
The following is an example of a blog comment that would receive an A grade.
I chose to do baby step number one, see how long you can keep eye contact with someone while they are talking to you. This step impacted me by making me a much better listener and it strengthened my relationship with my father when I made eye contact with him. It can help you become successful by making your relationship strong with everyone you talk too. It is important to be a good listener because then you will always know what you need to be doing at school or at work.
I agree with Julian C. It is good to be a listener because you could make a lot of mistakes because your not so sure what to do while you are working and your boss will realize that your not doing what you are suppose to be doing and you could get fired. Great post Julian.
Notice that there are no spelling mistakes, the student clearly identifies the baby step and there is thoughtful writing on the blog post.
