  • Geared to lower levels than Sirs Renaissance.
  • Maps of the World link gives many current and historical maps.
  • Educator’s Resources is available
  • Every Browse links has a Careers link to articles on careers associated with that topic.

  • Notable People–>US Presidents–>Millard Fillmore: Little icons next to hits show the multimedia items available with it.
  • You can email the article quickly to yourself.

Sirs Renaissance (a Proquest DB)

  • Not really for young kids. Intended for high school +
  • Pathfinders links and layout better than Discoverer.

Kids InfoBits

  • Graphically organized like Sirs Discoverer
  • Animals–>Pets & Farm animals–>cats
  • Don’t be fooled by lack of hits. Check out the other tabs.
  • Will read article.
  • Can put in “backpack” by clicking checkbox. The backpack can be viewed later.
