Piloting Multimedia Teaching Stations at BCH, RMS & RHS
Posted on January 28th, 2009 by jroberts
After visiting numerous school districts in our area, we now have our Multimedia Teaching Stations (MTS) ready for piloting.
Our Bret Emerson designed MTSs were installed by iComm USA this week (26-Jan-09). They are sweet. I’m going to train and ask our teachers as they use it to leave me comments so we can evaluate their feedback for when RPS buys one for each classroom next year.
My initial comments
- The worksurface needs to be deeper front to back to accomodate the Elmo’s “white board.”
- The locks need to be keyed the same. One key for the front and a second key for the back. Our three pilot stations appear to have six (6) different keys.
