We used the teaching stations today for our “Scurvy Dog Cafe Cocoa Shop” open mic. time with 3rd graders. We used the Elmo to project the presentations on the screen. The children were excited to see themselves and their peers “on the big screen”. This was a fun way to let the children do presentations. The cordless microphone was used too. We found the cordless microphone to be difficult to hear in the room. Rick VanOss tweaked the sound. Yet, it seemed heavy and “mushy” sounding. The further away from the speakers the children were placed in the classroom, the worse the sound became. The sound was not crisp and clear. Our current sound systems with surround sound are by far better and relay sounds much better.
