Two new technology buzzwords for you to use.

“Web 2.0″ – Ok, this one isn’t new but since no one seems to have the true definition, it’s like new. Think social networking like Facebook, Myspace along with “resources for collaboration, skill building, communication, critical thinking and creativity.” I bought an ISTE book called “web 2.0: new tools, new schools” to help translate it for you.

“UDL” – This is a new one to me. Universal Design for Learning “offers students the opportunity to learn without barriers.” Apparently, “Discovery Education Streaming, Inspiration (and) CPS” are part of UDL. More on this in the next two years.
