This is only an overview of what is going on in the classroom. Please be sure to check your child’s assignment book each night. The assignment book will list all assignments for any given day. Thank you!

Notes From Miss Kissel:

  • We will be attending the student performance of “Kiss Me Kate” on Wednesday, March 17.  Please make sure you send in $2 for your child’s ticket by Monday.  Also, students will need a bag lunch and drink on this day since we will be eating lunch in our rooms before the play.
  • Packets have been sent home with information on camp which will be May 3- May5.  Please return your child’s permission slip, health form, ropes course permission, and money by Thursday, April 1.
  • If you would like to donate any of the following items, we would really appreciate it: wide ruled lined paper, expo markers, candy bars, gum.

Sixth Grade Math:

A weekly story problem will be given to the students.  It will be assigned on Monday and the solution will be due on Friday.  The problem of the week can either be turned in in class or it can be turned in by using the blog and posting the answer.

Monday: Lesson 62 (Homework: pg. 327-328, evens)

Tuesday: Lesson 63 (Homework: pg. 330-332, odds)

Wednesday: Lesson 64 (Homework: pg. 334-336, evens)

Thursday: In class activity: Polygon Capture

Friday: Prime Factorization (Homework: Finish Worksheet), Problem of the Week Due


Seventh Grade Math:

Thursday: Chapter Review (Homework: Finish chapter review pg. 58-61)

Friday: Correct chapter review and study for test

There will be a test over chapter 2 on Tuesday, March 16.  Study, Study, Study!
