Elroy, your dog, likes to stop and sniff things when you take him for a walk.  But he only stops and sniffs trees, light poles, and fire hydrants.  He also only stops at every third thing he passes.  (He is a very smart dog!)  If you have already passed 2 trees, a fire hydrant, a light pole, and then 3 more trees, will he stop at the fire hydrant just ahead?
