Hey Mr. Holt... I totally forgot that I even had chemistry over the summer until Gabe reminded me last night. I don't even have a book yet, but I should be able to borrow one by tomorrow, and then I should be able to catch up on all of this reading and the stuff to do on the worksheet. I hope that this is ok and I'm sorry that I completely forgot about it.

That is a full load. You really need to make the decision of whether you can handle the course work or not. From what I know about you, I a pretty sure that you can handle the work. However, I would not base whether I was going to take the class on the fact that I had summer work to do. The summer work for AP Chem is not that bad, although a bit inconvenient. I guess your answer to this might help you determine whether or not science/chemistry is a path you want to take in college.
I forget what it is that you were hoping to study in college, but if it is math/science I would not drop AP Chem. If it is going to be something in humanities or english I would keep Lit. If you decide to stay and you need a book, check the other comments for a website I posted that has the text you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

hey Mr. Holt
I have a dilema. I am not sure as to if i am going to take this class. So far i have a completley full schedule with Ap Calculus, Ap Chem, Physics, Ap Literature, Political Science, Religion, and Spanish 4. I believe that this is a hard set of classes to take all at once because it is just a schedule of straight classes and none to relax in. (I know that Sara K. is also not taking the class for that reason.)I think this schedule will be hard for me to handle. Also if i am going to take this class i have not yet been able to get a book. If you have any thoughts on what i should do that would be great. Thanks for your time

Hey Mr. Holt!!

My parents ordered my AP Chem book a while ago and we have not gotten it in the mail yet. To make a short story sweet myy dad used his people to reach the book's people and they said that because it was shipped from outside of Michigan, they had some difficulty getting it to us (I don't know exactly how it happened becuase when my dad told me what happened, I was extrememly confused haha). Anyhoo, the company said that it should be here in a couple of days. Is it okay if I turn in the assignment as soon as my book gets in? I'm really sorry and it won't happen again.

Thanks! Alex
