AP Questions and Concerns

OK, we are but a few days away from the beginning of class. I hope you have been atleast skimming the pages in your texts. Remember, the day we get back we are going to have a short quest over chapter 1. I am hearing that some of you are a little nervous about the beginning of AP, but as long as you stay on top of the assignments, I promise you will be fine. If I didn’t think you all were capable, I would not have allowed you to take the class (or atleast I would have been talking to you about the class).

Anyway, Day 1 (Tuesday) will be a short quest over the very basic information in Chapter 1. If you have looked at it already, you will realize that I am unable to make this quest very difficult. After the quest (10 min), we will discuss any questions you have over Chapter 2 stuff. You still will probably have little questions at this point. After the 20 minute or so quest on Wednesday we will review Chapter 3 stuff. And finally after the Chapter 3 quest on Thursday, we will look over all three quests and look even closer at any areas you are still unclear about.

As for the summer assignment…do not worry about filling in all the blanks, just make sure you get the general idea of each chapter and make notes of things you are unclear about. If you have questions about concepts in Chapter 1, make sure you post a comment under this heading and I will answer it as soon as I can.

As for any of you that are nervous enough to want to drop and jump to Physics, I am going to have to say “No” at this point. The number is the two Physics classes and this AP class are right about where it works best. If you signed up for this class, I am sure you are capable of handling it.

Let’s talk about Electrolyzer stuff on Tuesday as well.

Sweet, I missed our last meeting time for the Electrolyzer Assembly!

OK all, sorry about my mess up  yesterday. I thought we were meeting today, Tuesday, until I played the thousands of messages of those of you who waited for me on Monday. Mucho asorriente.

Anyway, why don’t we give next Monday at noon a shot. I promise to be there and we can  make your electrolyzers.

Those of You with Electrolyzers

Friday at noon (8/8) is not going to work. I have sod to lay and lawns to mow. Let’s meet on Monday (8/11) at noon and we can get to work on putting those electrolyzers together.

AP kids keep working on you summer reading and if you do not have a book, you should be able to buy one at school next week???
