Question 1:
God said we have to take care of the Earth he created. We have to maintain a healthy enviornment for us to live on. And no, I do not think we are doing are best to take care of God’s Earth, even though we have improved which ideas such as a car that runs on water, or not as much gas such as a hybrid. Or the ways that we have to take care of the animals on it, such as when we say an animal cannot be hunetd or killed anymore.
I believe that God told us to take care of the earth he created and to respect it. I believe in this point of time we are not trying our best to make this world a safe and healthy place to live.
#1: This quote from Ezekiel 34:17-18, “As for you, my flock. Is it not enough for you to feed on good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?” this shows that God put us hear to not only enjoy what the earth has given us, but also to take care of what we are using. We are definitely not taking care of what God gave us good enough, we are doing things like destroying the ozone layer, in the last year we have doubled the amount of pollution than had before. We cut down trees for our use, but often times we do not replant anything. These are all reasons that show how we do not care for the earth as God had planned for us to do.
God told us that because he created the world and everything in it that we must take care of it and respect it. I do not think that we are doing all that we can to take care of the earth because there are people who do not care and dont try to help out our environment. Even though there are new ways of doing things more energy efficient and environmentally safe such as recycling, there is more we should do.
Genesis 2:15 “The Lord God took the man and placed him in the orchard in Eden to care for it and to maintain it.”
This is stating one of the many deeds that we, Gods people have to do for the Earth. Everything he made in the Earth is for us but it is our job to tend to it and keep it up. As of now I would say that we aren’t doing our job of taking care of the Earth as a whole.

From Genesis 2:15 say that “The Lord God took the man and placed him in the orchard in Eden to care for it and to maintain it”. We have to take care of this earth that God has made for us. I don’t believe we are going to best we can to take care of the earth and maintain it like God says to. There are many things that we use that are not good for our earth for example gas, cutting down trees and many more things. Everybody had to say something because one person is not going to make a difference.
God tells us in the Bible that he created Earth and what he created was good. Therefore, we should protect it and want to care for it because God made it and gave it to us. Now we are not taking care of it and we are trashing it with pollution and gas use.
#1. As stated in Genesis 1:31, which states, “God looked at everything he had made and was very pleased,” God loves all of His creations. We were given the job of protecting and caring for creation when He said in Genesis 2:15, “The Lord God took the man and placed him in the orchard in Eden to care for it and maintain it.” We are not taking good enough care of the environment because we are polluting, destroying the ozone layer, rain forest destrution, and even causing some species to become extinct,as stated on http://library.thinkquest.org/26026/Environmental_Problems/environmental_problems.html
Question 1
Genesis 2:15 “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to take care of it.” This means that we are supposed to take care of God’s earth just as Adam and Eve were suppose to take care of the Garden of Eden. God left the responsiblity of taking care of his creation in the hands of man. We are to be stewards of God’s creation. I believe that we are not following God’s plan because of all the pollution and destruction of God’s creation that is present within the world. I think that people need to become aware of the fact that we are slowly destroying God’s earth, and if they do become more aware of this, then I believe that we will be able to follow God’s plan.
The bible states that our stewardship towards God’s Earth should be respectful towards all things, and that everything was made for a reason. We should not harm or destroy the things that God made for us because it is God’s gift to us. So far, we are not following Gods plan because we pollute the environment with chemicals and destroy living organisms. What is worse is that we know we are harming the environment, but we keep on doing these things because we want the products that the factories make.
Question #1:
Genesis 2:15 say that “The Lord God took the man and placed him in the orchard in Eden to care for it and to maintain it”. To me this tells me that I alone must do what I can to help save and preserve this Earth. Today, as a planet I do not think that we are doing everything possible to help save the Earth. As the gas prices reached over 4 dollars a gallon over a year ago people started finding alternative fuels and eco friendly fuels. i think that the gas price issue helped raise the issue of greenhouse gasses. We are doing much better than we were doing before in terms of eco friendly fuels and alternative energy.
Question #1: God made everything. He made humans, animals, and everything else on this earth. God does not want us destroying any of his creations, whether it ranges from other humans or the earth in general. I do not feel we are following his plan by any means. The enviroment is worse then ever before, and it is only getting worse. We have made improvements to better it, but our efforts are not enough.
Question #1:
While inquiring information on this topic, I came across an important biblical passage. This passage stated, “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not the shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter choice animals, but you did not take care of the flock! You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally” (Ezekiel 34: 2- 4). The Lord created the earth for our personal use, but he expects us to return the favor. God wants us to treat the earth justly and not to harm it in any way, shape, or form. We, as people, are aware that we need to treat the world better, but we do not always have an interest in doing so. There are numerous programs, such as recycling, but that is basically the extent of what people do to help the environment. Overall, I do not think that we are following God’s plan for the earth.
The Bible states many times in different ways that we are given the task to care for and respect the earth that God gave us. So far, we have not done so well in this regard. We pollute the air constantly. We have begun tearing down rainforests and causing species to go extinct. We need to continue to find eco friendly means for fuel and other things, the way we are using fossil fuels right now will not last long enough.
Genesis 2:15 tells us that “The Lord God took the man and placed him in the orchard in Eden to care for it and to maintain it”. This pretty much tells us that it is our duty to maintain the place to live that God has granted to us. No, I do not think that we are taking care of the Earth properly, because of all the ddestruction that man has done to it. The purity of the Earth has been lost through the actions of man.
Question #2:
Solubility is defined as being “the maximum quantity of solute that can dissolve in a certain quantity of solvent or quantity of a solution at a specified temperature” (Jones 1). The rate of solubility is a measure of how fast a substance can be dissolved. There are a myriad of factors that could influence the solubility rate of a solution. These factors include the size of the particles, stirring, the amount of solute already dissolved, and the temperature. Dissolving particles mainly affects the surface of a particle. That is why the size of the particle is a factor, because it affects the overall solubility rate. By stirring a solution, you are dissolving the substances. The dissolving which takes place in a solution happens instantly. It is a fairly rapid process. The temperature of the solution determines how much of the solution can be dissolved. The temperature of the solution in a vital part of any experiment involving solubility.

The Bible says that we are suppose to respect the earth that God has given us. It is his gift to us, and it is our job to take care of it and treat it with respect. This means not polluting the enviroment. So by these standards I do not feel that we are following God’s plan for the enviroment. The world today has allowed our enviroment to become so polluted that it is a shame. God gave us this wonderful earth, and we trashed it. For example, air quality is bad, pollution of lakes and rivers is terrible, and greenhouse gases are destroying the ozone. we need to change our actions in order to follow God’s plan
In Genesis 2:15 it says, “The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it.”
This means as a whole that God has put man on the Earth to protect it. I do not think we are doing a very good job of this because we pollute the air and land nearly everyday. Also we could be doing a lot more to care for the Earth like recycling and cutting down on our use of things that pollute our air and environment.
I agree with Erika because I believe that we need to try out best to keep the environment clean and safe.
I agree with Alyssa’s response because even though we recycle and try to use energy efficiently, there is still a lot more that we should try to do to make the world a better place for everbody.
Well, since everybody seems to agree with the fact that we are not doing a good job following God’s plan, I will just have to further agree with Gabe. I agree with Gabe because I also strongly believe that we are polluting the environment with the chemicals that we use. We know that we are doing this, but we continue to harm the environment anyway for our own benefit.
I think Scott makes an excellent point. God created the earth, and everything serves a purpose. God also created humans. The sole purpose of humans is not to treat our environment poorly. Why do we choose to neglect the environment?
I agree with what Julie says, we have done the bare minimum when it comes to recycling and and care for the earth, but for all that God gave to us we could do a lot better.
I agree with Scott because in our world today people are really lacking respect, and that is one of the main things God tells us to do in the Bible, whether it’s toward another person or the environment. With more respect, our world would be a happier, healthier, safer place.
I think Lauren’s comment is exactly right. Our options for protecting earth are unlimited, yet we neglect them everyday.
I agree with Sean Halloran. We pollute the air way too much and destroy natural resources so we can use them for our needs. We should find better options and ways to produce somethings. Like Sean said, we need to find eco friendly means for fuel and other things.
I agree with Gabe Gasior because like he said, everything was made for a reason, and that reason is not to destroy or to harm it.
Sorry Mr. Holt, the blog would not open on my computer until today for some reason. I had to get the URL again. Anyway I agree with Tom Paul because I agree that we are doing better with being eco friendly and we get more out of it like God taught us.
