Thing #10

Fun, Fun, Fun! I finally made myself stop playing in Picnik; I was amazed at all the free options that are offered.

With this photo I cropped, removed red-eye on the deer, checked the color and used auto-fix, applied a border and tried different graphics to label.

neverending project

This is a picture of the cabin we are building which has been an on-going project. It was fun to fade the edges, crop and add a label.

I thought Picnik was easy to use and it was enjoyable to try out many of the options. If you didn’t like any feature or changeĀ  it didn’t have to be applied to the photo. My only problem was losing a few pictures, I renamed them as a .jpg file and now can’t find them on my hard drive. However, I did e-mail copies of these to friends and family from the Picnik program so the edited pictures must be somewhere!

As an elementary teacher I could use Picnik to edit photos for newsletters, our web page and my school blog site.
