Silent Sustained Reading (SSR) is a 30-minute class where all staff and students take time out of their busy day to read. Please feel free to bring in your favorite novels, joke books, magazines, or newspaper articles. If you forget to bring something, you will need to choose from the materials on my shelf.
On Fridays this year, you will be given a prompt to respond to in your Success Journal. Your responses will be written to Ms. Stellard. She will be collecting and reading them during SSR.
Daily Schedule for SSR:
Monday – Thursday = SSR
Friday = Success Journal Writing and SSR
