Way to go Navigators!!! You had perfect attendance during the MAP testing and we think that is GREAT! We want to show our appreciation on Thursday, October 8. You will be allowed to dress down that day, AND you will get to watch a movie in the afternoon. Stay tuned for more details.
I am so excited that the school year is under way, and more importantly we are on our way. I am thrilled about the writers workshop that we have going in room 7, and cannot wait to continue to read all of your stories. Continue to give it your all!!!

Hello all. Please remember that I am going to be at a conference in Las Vegas Nevada staritng April 24th and returning on May 1. Show how a true Gator represents themesleves. I will miss you.
Lots… We have a few projects underway right now. We are currently working on creating and presenting Microsoft Publisher Brochures. They look great!!! Remember we begin presenting on Thursday the 26th.
Also, we begin our Bullying Unit and Persuasive Essay Writing.

Historical Fiction, here we come!!! We dive into exploring the life of Annemarie Johansen from Number the Stars. Be sure to keep your specific presentation date in mind. Make sure to get copies to me at least one day before you present.

Our 8th grade class is now reading Anne Frank The Diary Of A Young Girl.
They are learning about how Anne lived and what her life was like during the Holocaust. They are making 3 time lines: one on their life, one on Anne Franks life, and one on dates throughout the Holocaust. The timelines are due Friday, January 30.
