We will not be meeting on Tuesday, January 27th.  Have a fun, safe, day.

On Tuesday, January, 20th we will begin reading The Diary of Anne Frank.  We will have a reading schedule, and will make daily posts in our own diaries. 

Did you know that over 6,000,000 undesirables were killed during the Holocaust?  Well they were. All because one man didn’t think they had the right to live. He was a powerful speaker and his name was Adolf Hitler. His main target was the Jew’s. Many Jew’s suffered during World War 2 all because of one man. Today we honor those who died during these times.

The 8th and 9th graders will be attending The Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills, MI.

I can hardly believe how fast the time is going.  Our last day of school is December 19.  We will return back from the break on January 5th, 2009.  Have a safe, happy holiday!

Do you know how you are doing in your classes?  Check your progress regularly.  Keep up with assignments and take advantage of the multiple after school help rooms.
